Lizzy's Baptism |

What a special day for Lizzy - she
was baptized. She has been learning from her parents and in Sunday School
what baptism means and was ready for the day. She has promised to follow
Jesus Christ and to always remember Him, and to keep the commandments.
She knows that if she keeps her promise (covenant) that Heavenly Father
will keep His promise as well: To forgive her when she repents; and
to let her live with Him forever. After her baptism, she received the
gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. The Holy Ghost will
help her to follow Christ, will testify to her of the truthfulness of
the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and will guide her throughout her life.
Congratulations Lizzy! Your Heavenly Father is happy today for your
decision to be baptized and to follow His son, Jesus Christ.
